The H Orlando – Best Mediterranean Steakhouse for Anniversaries & Date Nights

Living up here in northern Central Florida (Gainesville/Ocala area), we have some really nice local restaurants that I love, but sometimes you just crave something fancy something that makes your taste buds go “wow” and turns an typical evening into taste bud heaven. That’s when my husband and I head south to The H Orlando right near International Drive.

It’s become our spot for anniversaries, date nights, and those “we deserve this” special occasions. The atmosphere is exactly what I want upscale but not to fancy where we feel intimidated. They play low music through an amazing sound system and the dim lighting with the open-fire kitchen adds that exciting energy. It’s cozy and perfect for celebrating without feeling overwhelmed. The food is where it really shines.

One of my absolute favorites is the Pappardelle Cheese Wheel Pasta they do it tableside, scraping the big wheel of cheese and melting it right over the fresh noodles for that creamy, gooey goodness. We’ve also love their seasonal appetizers things like burrata or cheese boards with fresh twists that feel elevated, the wood fired dry aged steaks grilled to perfection, and handcrafted pastas that pair beautifully with house made sauces. Everything has that Mediterranean steakhouse flair big flavors, beautiful presentation, and generous portions for sharing.

Yeah, it’s a bit pricey, but sometimes you just gotta go with that “I don’t check the price, all I do is swipe” mindset lol you deserve the treat!
